New Employment Process - Apprentice

In January of this year, my internship contract with Casa Pia e Colégio dos Órfãos de São Joaquim would finish and at the end of last year I began to look for a new place to work.



There were some friends of mine from Empresa Jr. at UFBA, who I knew worked for a company that I was always very interested in being a collaborator. So I contacted a friend to find out when they would be opening a new internship process. I learned that the selection process would be opened in May for an Apprentice position. This friend then got me an interview with her leader in the Human Resources area via Zoom. The interview was great and at the end she asked me if I would like to join her team!



Since then I have been working at Ambev as an apprentice. This process is managed by an outsourced company, called ISBET - Educação para o Trabalho. This company is responsible for the instruction process of young apprentices in various locations, has a course that addresses extremely important themes of Citizenship, Economic Policies Portuguese Language, Sales Process, Control and Quality, Communication Management, Guided Visits, Human Rights, Mathematics, People Management, Human Resources, Health and Safety at Work, Ethics, World of Work, Basic Notions of the Financial Market, Sales Process, Marketing Fundamentals, Building a Company, IT, Budget, Environmental Education, Control and Quality and Customer Relationship.



I am currently studying Mathematics, having already taken 11 subjects of the course. In this process there are days that I work for the company, with my current leader, who have given me fundamental support and where I have learned a lot. I'm working in the People area which I identify with a lot with. Ambev is with several inclusion and diversification movements, always seeking their continuous improvement.



It has been extremely positive and aggregating all the knowledge I have been acquiring at Ambev. The company is undergoing a significant change in its way of operating and I have identified a lot with it, in terms of inclusion and valuing differences within the company.



I always feel free to ask any questions, always receiving and giving feedback so that there is in continuous improvement, including its employees at all levels.



I'm part of Ambev's "People" team, which takes care of activities related to our people, whether in labor, legal and motivational issues. Among others, I have been carrying out communications about the quality of life of employees, the need to maintain physical, mental, social and financial health and how to achieve them, providing tips and data about their importance.



Today I complete 8 months of Ambev and I see myself much more capable of working as a team, with the different softwares that were presented to me, more engaged with my team, which because of the Pandemic we had only known each other via the internet. However, yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting most of the team in person for the first time!



It was good to see them, we exchanged feedbacks and in a more relaxed and informal moment we talked! Many already knew me because I'm responsible for some of the communications that are sent in the company's WhatsApp group and demonstrated that they liked what I've been developing. We are all united to start this new chapter in CDD Salvador, learning more and more with this great school that is Ambev!!
