By the end of my treatment in AACD in São Paulo, the physiatrist, who was head of my case, my parents and I had a meeting where he guided us on how to proceed with the treatment in Salvador.
At that moment we also met with an orthopedic surgeon. He suggested performing a muscle transposition surgery and stretching the Achilles tendon.
Once we were back in Salvador, we talked to specialists of our trust and decided to proceed with the surgery.
A few months later we returned to São Paulo, where, in the AACD hospital, I had the muscle transposition and stretching the Achilles tendon surgery.
When I left the operating room, I had a cast on my left leg. Five days later, I returned to Salvador. I had the cast on for 20 days and had it removed in Salvador with a doctor indicated by my surgeon in São Paulo.
